Job summary

WSP seeks a Vice President, Electrical Engineering for the Atlanta, GA office to grow our Healthcare Design Practice in the region. The ideal candidate is a licensed Electrical Engineer with extensive healthcare design experience on the East Coast and strong technical leadership.

You will lead complex projects from concept through construction, manage cross-functional teams, and drive business development while maintaining WSP standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in electrical engineering and infrastructure design for capital projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Electrical engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of electrical design, particularly healthcare industry.
• Proven ability to coordinate and direct others to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review, and approve electrical design plans for code compliance.
• Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across project phases from concept to operation.
• Plan future-ready electrical design strategies and operating requirements.
• Manage design and construction of electrical systems from inception to completion.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, budgets, hours, expenses, and regulatory analysis memos.
• Prepare data visualizations and technical reports for presentations and recommendations.
• Develop client relationships and contribute input on pursuit efforts.
