Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Nurture grantor relationships and drive organic growth.
  • Manage project and accreditation teams for educational development.
  • Ensure quality of CME programs and fiscal accountability.
  • Fiscal accountability for proper budget management and identification of organic growth
  • Lead with credibility and confidence, drive innovation, and shape the future of CME thought leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Leading the planning process and integration of best practices across every project
  • Establish strong working relationships with grantors, association partners, academic providers, and other stakeholders and balance their expectations with company goals
  • Provide comprehensive, responsive and high-quality education thought leadership, challenging the team to deliver innovative solutions tailored to the grantor’s needs
  • Direct and nurture the development and presentation of new solutions to give ACHL a competitive advantage, including: insight development, road map innovation, critical initiatives, big but relevant ideas, and efficiency efforts
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team to meet productivity, efficiency and revenue targets
  • Drive a culture of experimentation, testing, and iteration
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of trust, inclusion, and respect
  • Provide clear communication to team members on business initiatives, ensure proper training on tools and processes, and participate in talent recruitment and development efforts
  • Co-manage and mentor teams with varying levels of experience, ensuring high-quality results and professional growth

Job Summary

As the VP, Education Development & Performance, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership for ACHL. You’ll be responsible for nurturing strong grantor relationships, driving organic growth, and ensuring the quality of work produced by cross-functional teams. This position requires a deep understanding of educational development, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a culture of innovation and excellence. You’ll manage, lead, and develop the project and accreditation teams, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational projects. The VP is also accountable for ensuring proper fiscal management, solving problems, and driving innovative educational solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • 10-15+ years of health agency or project service agency experience with progressive levels of responsibility and business acumen in health education, team management, revenue forecasting, and P&L management
  • Capability to understand business challenges from C-Level perspective and devise agile solutions to improve operational processes and performance, including people and technology
  • Clear accountability to evolve the business to become a more operationally functional and high-performing, future-ready team
  • Excellent client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic plans, innovate, and drive innovative client solutions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Nurture strong grantor and team relationships, drive organic growth, and ensure the quality of work produced by cross-functional teams
  • Manage, lead, and develop the project and accreditation departments across all phases of educational development: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Oversee accreditation unit to ensure CME and educational programs meet accreditation standards and learner outcomes, including ongoing reaccreditation cycles (e.g., ACCME, ACPE).
  • Fiscal accountability for proper budget management and identification of organic growth
  • Lead with credibility and confidence, drive innovation, and shape the future of CME thought leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Leading the planning process and integration of best practices across every project
