Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Equity Capital Markets group in New York seeks a Vice President to join the Global Power & Energy Group (GPEG). The role focuses on originating, structuring and executing equity offerings, coordinating with Sales, Trading and IB teams to deliver strategic capital solutions for clients.

Strong market knowledge and a track record in ECM are essential. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in Global Capital Markets or Investment Banking, a Bachelor’s degree, and Series licensing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Global Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
• Experience in Equity Capital Markets is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, provide financial analysis, and develop corporate finance solutions.
• Extremely motivated with strong work quality and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Series licensing or must obtain.

Responsibilities

• Originate, position, structure and execute equity offerings (IPOs, follow-ons, private placements, convertibles).
• Collaborate with Equity Sales & Trading and Investment Banking to deliver clients sophisticated solutions.
• Provide market insights and capital markets advice to clients.
• Manage multiple ECM projects and coordinate across teams to meet deadlines.
