Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, seeks a Vice President of Distribution Operations in Wisconsin. You will oversee 29+ million square-feet of warehouse space and lead our distribution network to drive efficiency for a growing North American company.

You will direct the network across 14 locations with 5,000+ staff, evaluating inventory, workflows, productivity, and workforce planning to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience with supervisory roles in multi-site DC environments.
• 7+ years of distribution management experience.
• Knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Experience with performance metrics and WMS.

Responsibilities

• Direct and optimize our distribution network of 14 North American locations with 5,000+ warehouse employees.
• Evaluate distribution operations, including inventory, workflows, productivity, and workforce planning.
• Support initiatives for warehouse development, including site selection, building design and product placement.
• Evaluate warehouse systems and technologies to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure exceptional levels of accuracy, safety and performance in daily warehouse functions.
