Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor, seeks a visionary Vice President of Distribution Operations to drive efficiency and superior customer service. You will oversee 14 distribution centers and 29+ million sq ft of warehouse space, shaping strategy, staffing, and operations for sustained growth.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in distribution leadership, with 7+ years in management across multi-state sites, and strong WMS and performance metrics experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years in distribution roles with supervisory experience across multi-state/multi-building DCs.
• 7+ years in distribution management.
• Deep knowledge of warehouse operations – inbound and outbound.
• Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Direct and optimize our distribution network across 14 North American locations and 5,000+ warehouse employees.
• Evaluate distribution operations including inventory, workflows, productivity, and workforce planning.
• Support warehouse development initiatives including site selection and design.
• Assess warehouse systems and technologies to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy, safety and performance in daily warehouse functions.
