HackerOne is seeking a Vice President, Deputy General Counsel to lead the global commercial legal function and own the privacy portfolio. This remote role reports to the CLO and supports revenue growth, international expansion, and AI-driven product innovation across NA, EMEA, and APAC.

You will personally handle complex matters while building scalable standards, systems, and a multinational team, enabling rapid deal velocity and strong governance.

Qualifikationen

• UK/EU or US qualified lawyer.
• 15+ years of legal experience, including significant in‑house leadership in technology or SaaS.
• Experience managing a commercial legal function or major sub‑function.
• Extensive experience negotiating complex, cross‑border enterprise agreements.
• Deep working knowledge of applicable privacy laws.

Aufgaben

• Shape global commercial legal strategy with the CLO, aligned to growth priorities and international expansion.
• Maintain enterprise-wide risk standards and negotiation frameworks that support speed and disciplined decisions.
• Advise on complex transactions, including global enterprise agreements and channel partnerships.
• Own the global privacy program and data protection risk including cross‑border transfers.
• Lead privacy workstream of incident response and governance across functions.
• Lead and develop a multi‑jurisdictional legal team for commercial and privacy support.
