iCapitalnetwork is seeking an outstanding Data Engineer to join the Data and Analytics team, building scalable infrastructure to warehouse data and enable data-driven decisions. The role involves designing ingestion pipelines, data models, and reusable components, with close collaboration to sales and product teams to advance FinTech strategy.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data engineering, strong Python and JVM skills, and experience with Redshift/Snowflake and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/related field or quantitative discipline.
• 8+ years with open-source tech or scalable codewriting.
• Experience with Python and JVM languages (Scala/Java/Kotlin).
• Familiar with Redshift, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, data lakes and data warehouses.
• Strong communication and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Master's degree preferred; financial tech experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leverage open-source tech and cloud solutions to build features.
• Develop large-scale data platform infrastructure to drive growth.
• Design reusable ingestion, cleansing, and data quality components.
• Streamline ingestion from multiple sources into Data Lake/Warehouse.
• Design data models for storage and retrieval aligned to product needs.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to advance FinTech strategy.
