Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Lead Data Architect to define conceptual, logical, and physical data models for wealth management data products. You’ll partner with stakeholders to set standards, enable analytics, and empower AI-enabled solutions with durable, scalable data architectures.

You will shape target-state architecture, own data models, metadata, and schema evolution, while guiding cross-functional teams through complex design challenges and governance processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data design for data products, data lakes or data warehouses.
• Advanced data-product development lifecycles and domain-driven data mesh design.
• Data modeling from conceptual to physical implementation.
• Cloud-native experience delivering data solutions.
• Metadata governance with terms, definitions, and mappings.
• Ability to partner with business and tech teams to translate needs.
• Familiarity with automation or AI tools to improve docs and design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Engage engineering and business stakeholders to propose data-architecture approaches.
• Define target-state data architecture for owned data products and drive delivery.
• Participate in governance forums and ensure alignment to standards and controls.
• Design and troubleshoot architecture solutions for complex problems.
• Own data models for wealth management domains, including keys and relationships.
• Define canonical concepts and conformed dimensions and measures.
• Produce and maintain metadata artifacts and embed them into data mesh delivery.
• Design for AI readiness: stable identifiers, history, and clear semantics.
