Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Chicago seeks a Vice President to lead segment financial analytics and reporting for Commercial Real Estate within CB.

You will partner with segment heads, regional managers and finance teams to drive budgeting, forecasting and actionable insights across regions and products. The role requires strong communication, executive presence, and the ability to tell a data-driven story with balance sheet drivers and key business metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate finance, planning & analysis, or accounting.
• Experience in corporate financial analytics with understanding of a bank's balance sheet, P&L and drivers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project-management skills with execution track record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to tell a data-driven story.
• Strong technical skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to synthesize data and summarize concepts.
• Proactive, sense of urgency, and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience leading or managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead dialogue with CRE segment heads, regional managers, and senior stakeholders to deliver actionable insights on segment performance.
• Develop and present clear, decision-oriented financial analysis for segment/industries; support initiatives and ad-hoc requests.
• Prepare materials and analytics for financial reporting meetings and quarterly reviews.
• Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (recurring and ad-hoc).
• Conduct deep dive analyses on issues impacting clients/business and propose solutions.
• Partner with Management and Analytics teams to develop insightful reporting focusing on drivers.
• Drive value by simplifying processes, accelerating automation, and enhancing analytics and support.
