Job summary

Tract Capital seeks a Vice President, Corporate Counsel – Energy Project Development to lead legal affairs across development, financing, construction, and operation of energy infrastructure supporting digital infrastructure strategies.

You will translate complex regulatory and commercial issues into actionable guidance, partner with senior leaders, and drive robust risk management in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience in energy, infrastructure, or related fields.
• Experience drafting and negotiating EPC, development, interconnection, energy supply, and financing agreements.

Responsibilities

• Advise on energy projects from development through operation and compliance.
• Translate diverse risks into practical recommendations and protections.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with energy development, construction, supply chain, and finance teams.
• Draft and negotiate development, joint venture, MOU, term sheet, and related documents.
• Manage project execution risks including changes, delays, and disputes.
