Job description

Dartmouth Partners are working closely with a large, Private Equity backed organization within the construction industry - seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee the group's accounting structure.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will play an integral part in the Accounting team and directly influence the Accounting procedure and processes. Working within a fast growth and large change environment within PE, the individual must be adaptable and able to work in these types of environments.

Must have experience with Percentage of Completion accounting (work in progress billing).

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the annual budgeting process and the preparation and distribution of the monthly reports on budgets
  2. Exposure to Percentage of completion accounting (Work in progress)
  3. All month-end close procedures; make improvements to processes where required and ensure a clean and effective month-end close
  4. Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational systems and cost effectiveness
  5. Manage the annual audit process
  6. Cash flow and Capital management
  7. Working Capital and capital allocation
  8. Conduct financial analysis and calculate operating metrics
  9. Internal controls and compliance
  10. Process optimization
  11. Partnership with internal teams
  12. Management of junior staffing
  13. Utilization of ERP system

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, including CPA
  2. 12+ years of accounting experience
  3. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
