Job Description:

The VP, Content Strategy and Curriculum is a strategic, senior leader who cares deeply about technology education and possesses a proven ability to direct content creation across a broad range of technical domains. This role is responsible for setting Pluralsight’s topical content strategy, determining which technologies/topics are covered, to what extent, and on what time horizons. Core to this role is an innovative outlook on how technical content creation is evolving and what steps need to be taken to modernize on-demand learning. In this role, the VP will evangelize Pluralsight’s content story and lead the future of Pluralsight’s content offerings. This role reports to the SVP, Content.

What you’ll do:

  • Set and execute the content roadmap, guiding our curriculum teams and author network, with an annual goal to publish over 3000 pieces of content.

  • Manage the content creation and maintenance budget strategically.

  • Design and implement innovative content styles to foster repeated, progressive learner engagement.

  • Lead a team of 20+ content professionals, including directors and managers, inspiring and motivating them to create.

  • Own the outcomes of your team’s work and nurture future senior leaders.

  • Attract, hire, and retain top talent.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience leading leaders.

  • Technical expertise in at least one technology domain and conversational literacy across multiple domains.

  • Experience in setting and executing data-driven content strategies.

  • Extensive background in technical education and on-demand eLearning.

  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams with diverse roles and skills.

  • Presentation experience at the executive or conference level.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of related or equivalent experience, with at least 10 years holding a bachelor’s degree.

  • Experience as a senior people leader.
