Job summary

Spring Health is seeking a Vice President, Consultant Relations to join our Revenue leadership team. This remote role, with travel 4–6 times per quarter, will own the end-to-end consultant relations strategy and lead a high-performing team of 7 to eliminate barriers to mental health.

You will build partnerships with national and regional benefits consultants, drive pipeline growth, and collaborate with sales and marketing to align on our mission and product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare or benefits environment.
• Proven track record of leading teams focused on large/jumbo employer clients.
• Deep existing relationships and credibility across top national benefit consulting firms.
• Expertise in navigating complex, rapidly changing environments with a strong bias toward action.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to practice candor with care in high-stakes negotiations.
• Strong analytical rigor and a data-driven approach to identifying market opportunities.
• Authentic alignment with our mission to eliminate every barrier to mental healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a consultant relations strategy that drives Spring Health awareness and advocacy across the employer and Health Plan healthcare benefit space.
• Lead and develop a team of 7 Strategic Alliances directors and senior managers by providing clear feedback and guidance that enables growth.
• Drive pipeline growth through targeted strategies and deep partnerships with national and regional benefits consulting firms.
• Educate the market by building high-level relationships with leaders across top-tier consulting firms.
• Partner with internal marketing to execute targeted consultant campaigns, sponsorships, and events.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on our shared mission.
• Provide competitive intelligence and consultant viewpoints to internal stakeholders to inform product and growth roadmaps.
• Create an environment of psychological safety and trust where your team can debate ideas and learn from mistakes.
• Translate company strategy into clear goals and success criteria for the Alliances team.
• Manage team capacity and remove obstacles to ensure sustainable, high-bar performance.
