Nuveen, a global investment leader, is seeking a Vice President of Compensation to partner with the Head of Compensation in developing and implementing compensation programs aligned with our reward strategy. This role designs salary and incentive structures and oversees base pay, incentives, and related policies across the organization.

In this senior role, you will analyze job roles, support salary planning, and assess programs for policy compliance, market competitiveness, and business impact.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of compensation experience in financial services
• 5+ years required; 7+ years preferred

Responsabilidades

• Develops salary and incentive structure designs and pay policies in accordance with the organization’s reward strategy.
• Reviews changes to base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, allowances, deferred compensation, sales compensation, etc. as directed by management.
• Reviews preliminary job analysis, job evaluations and salary increase reviews to ensure employees receive the appropriate compensation for their position.
• Conducts analysis and studies to support management in developing and administering effective compensation and benefits programs in accordance with the organization's reward strategy.
• Approves reports for the purpose of providing written support and conveying information to management regarding policy and compensation interpretation as well as in the annual salary planning process.
• Participates in the planning of new and revised compensation programs so that employees receive the appropriate compensation for their position.
• Assesses the company's compensation programs to ensure they are in accordance with established policies.

The Vice President, Compensation – Nuveen is an integral part of the Nuveen Compensation team. This role works closely with the Head of Compensation to develop effective compensation programs in accordance with the organization's reward strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Develops salary and incentive structure designs and pay policies in accordance with the organization’s reward strategy. Reviews changes to base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, allowances, deferred compensation, sales compensation, etc. as directed by management. Reviews preliminary job analysis, job evaluations and salary increase reviews to ensure employees receive the appropriate compensation for their position. Conducts analysis and studies to support management in developing and administering effective compensation and benefits programs in accordance with the organization's reward strategy. Approves reports for the purpose of providing written support and conveying information to management regarding policy and compensation interpretation as well as in the annual salary planning process. Base Pay Range

$154,000/yr - $215,000/yr Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
