Job summary

United Way of Dane County seeks a visionary Vice President of Community Impact to lead all aspects of the department, drive equity-centered strategies, and report to the President & CEO. You will manage initiatives, budgeting, staff performance and partner relationships to advance community well-being.

As a member of the executive leadership team, you will align across departments, secure funding, and advocate publicly to maximize impact and data-driven outcomes for Dane County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Ten years of professional leadership experience with community organizations, community planning or related human services management.
• Experience leading large, diverse teams of staff and volunteers in a collaborative environment.
• Experience developing, implementing and improving systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Model and proactively demonstrate a commitment to equity and inclusion in all work.
• Lead the strategic investment of UWDC’s financial and human capital to achieve measurable community-wide change.
• Bring professional presence and depth of experience to credibly represent UWDC and its community partners locally, statewide and nationally.
• Provide vision, leadership and team development across Community Impact.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
