Job summary

LPL Financial seeks a Vice President, Cloud Lead to shape our cloud ecosystem, drive scalable and secure enterprise platforms, and partner with business and technology teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Architecture, QC, Release Management, and Infrastructure to design cloud-native and hybrid-cloud systems emphasizing security, scalability, and performance. This role suits someone who thrives in modern software engineering and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combo of education/experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, application architecture, and enterprise technology delivery.
• 5+ years designing and developing cloud or hybrid-cloud solutions.
• 5+ years full-stack development using C#, Angular, and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable enterprise apps and platform services in cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Quality Engineering, Release Management, and business stakeholders to deliver tech solutions aligned with objectives.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including design, development, testing, deployment, support, and enhancements.
• Design solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and cloud best practices.
• Develop and support highly scalable platform components, APIs, apps, and services for enterprise needs.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical support for complex issues.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to solution planning, technical estimates, and roadmap development activities.
• Maintain technical documentation throughout the lifecycle of solutions.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence through knowledge sharing.
