Job summary

Nextera Search Group is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead CLO compliance and portfolio testing in a New York-based financial services setting. You will oversee compliance monitoring, transaction analysis, and reporting to support investment decisions and data integrity.

The role requires a strong background in credit portfolio analytics, structured financing, and advanced financial modeling, with a proven ability to coordinate with internal teams and external providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in credit portfolio analytics, compliance, or investment operations.
• Experience with structured financing arrangements and corporate credit investments.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
• Proficiency with portfolio management, accounting, or investment analytics systems.
• Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio compliance with investment guidelines and financing requirements, investigating exceptions and coordinating resolutions.
• Analyze proposed transactions and portfolio scenarios to assess their impact on investment limits and portfolio positioning.
• Identify opportunities to improve portfolio efficiency and support investment decisions.
• Prepare portfolio reporting and respond to internal requests for holdings data and analytical support.
• Review periodic cash flow calculations and distribution schedules.
• Partner with internal teams and external service providers to maintain accurate data and timely reporting.
