Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President for the Wealth Management Chief Data Office to lead a team engaging with clients and financial advisors on cybersecurity and fraud risk. The role supports WM CDO with budgeting, resourcing, hiring, space management, mentorship, and special projects.

The successful candidate will manage cross-functional engagement, develop talent, and drive initiatives that align with WM CDO’s mission and risk objectives, in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7–12 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and prior management experience.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving and research skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous workstreams with attention to detail.
  • Expertise in office productivity software, data analysis, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team coordinating engagements between WM CDO SMEs, high net worth clients, prospects and financial advisors to support business development or incident response.
  • Manage administrative staff supporting WM CDO Managing Directors with scheduling, travel and expenses.
  • Oversee WM CDO non-employee budget (consulting, travel, training, etc.).
  • Support hiring managers with recruitment activities and provide transparency into the hiring pipeline.
  • Facilitate onboarding and continuous education to align new hires with WM CDO mission and goals.
  • Lead mentorship programs and talent development; coordinate communications and outreach events.
  • Maintain team documentation and governance materials (org charts, onboarding curricula, job descriptions).
  • Collaborate with SMEs to maintain educational and marketing materials for client/prospect/fiduciary education on data security and fraud risk.
