About This Role :
An Executive Partner in the Forrester executive program for chief information officers, chief technology officers, and chief digital officers is a client’s trusted advisor and thought partner.
By building deep relationships with clients and their teams, Executive Partners (EPs) : 1) develop a comprehensive understanding of a client’s key priorities, company environment, and personal aspirations; 2) provide candid, actionable feedback on strategies / initiatives; 3) help each client identify and make decisions critical to success; and 4) bring the best of the Forrester ecosystem (spanning research, consulting, and events) to clients in a timely and tailored fashion.
In the process, the Executive Partner helps senior technology executives and their teams develop customer-focused, future-fit strategies that allow their organizations to adapt to change, be resilient to shocks, and enable the creativity of its people.
Executive Partners also play a critical role in the operation of the internal Forrester research and sales ecosystems. As a full member of the Forrester Research organization, EPs identify potential research topics, connect researchers with forward-looking clients, and participate in research interviews. In partnership with sales, EPs communicate Forrester’s value proposition to clients, identify opportunities for consulting support, and contribute directly to Forrester’s revenue goals for the executive programs business.
The VP, CIO Executive Partner is primarily responsible for client delivery and retention; the EP also plays a key role in identifying sales expansion opportunities for Forrester. Candidates must possess relevant executive-level technology experience and strategic thought leadership to challenge clients’ thinking.

Please note that the base salary range indicated here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition, with the exception of New York City. This salary range is based upon the position as described in the job listing. The offered compensation may vary within this range and is dependent upon the successful candidate’s primary work location, experience, training, education, and credentials.
Base salary range : $162,141 - $338,030
Base salary range for New York City, NY : $207,180 - $338,030
For employees based in Washington State, the percentage listed here is an estimated incentive bonus target as a percentage of base salary, in accordance with the Forrester Employee Bonus Plan. Individual and company performance, as well as other eligibility criteria, will determine the actual incentive amount.
Bonus target : 15%
Applicants in Colorado : please refer to the annual base salary range and estimated bonus target indicated below. Base salary is dependent on an employee’s experience and skills compared to the requirements of the role.
Annual Base Salary Range : $180,156 - $293,940
The following percentage is an estimated variable target as a percentage of base salary, in accordance with the Forrester Employee Bonus Plan. Individual and company performance and other factors as set forth in the applicable plan will determine the actual incentive amount earned.
