Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 6–8 years in policy/government or adjacent role.
  • Proven experience driving public policy priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building with regulators and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CIB Regulatory Affairs team, contributing to strategic direction and driving execution of regulatory and public policy initiatives.
  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies to advance the firm's policy priorities with US regulators, trade associations, and other external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CIB stakeholders, ensuring alignment on regulatory objectives and priorities.
  • Manage and deepen relationships with US regulators, policymakers, and industry groups, representing the firm in external meetings and discussions.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive briefing materials, including memos and presentations, for senior management.
  • Coordinate with corporate and business partners to develop regulatory policy positions, with a focus on asset management, private banking, and retail wealth management.
  • Lead and direct cross-functional project teams, ensuring successful project completion and effective communication.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication of the firm's regulatory policy positions through written responses, meetings, and public forums.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the firm's business and strategy.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting professional growth and high performance.
