U.S. Bank is seeking a VP of CBB Executive Strategy to lead enterprise-impacting strategic perspectives for the CEO, Board, and Managing Committee. This role translates complex inputs into concise, action-ready viewpoints to guide high-stakes decisions.

The ideal candidate will synthesize insights from finance, product, channels, and risk, drive cross-functional workstreams, and deliver high-impact narratives with urgency in a fast-paced governance environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, or senior financial services leadership.
• Deep understanding of consumer and business banking and broader financial services.
• Proven ability to translate external trends and internal performance into actionable strategy.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence across senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of CBB’s highest-priority strategic perspectives, including market expansion, growth pathways, and competitive positioning
• Frame and structure responses to critical, time-sensitive strategic questions from the CEO, Managing Committee, and senior leadership
• Translate complex analyses into concise, decision-ready insights that enable rapid, informed action
• Lead cross-functional workstreams to gather, challenge, and align perspectives across business and functional partners
