Yoh is seeking a VP-level Trade Finance Operations Manager to lead experienced teams handling global trade finance operations across multiple jurisdictions. You will oversee complex workflows, ensure compliance, and drive transformational improvements in processes and technology.

The role requires 8+ years in trade finance, deep knowledge of LCs/SBLCs and bank guarantees, and strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Trade Finance operations.
• Experience leading teams within a trade finance environment.
• Strong expertise in Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Document Examination, Documentary Credits.
• Familiarity with UCP 600, URDG, ISP98.
• Experience managing complex transaction workflows and supporting client-facing trade finance solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Lead recruitment, coaching, performance management, and career development activities for operations staff.
• Develop training materials, process documentation, and operational procedures.
• Structure and support Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, and Guarantees in partnership with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver technical training and guidance related to documentary credits, document examination, and trade finance best practices.

We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Operations Manager to lead high-performing teams supporting global trade finance operations. This role is responsible for overseeing complex trade finance transactions, driving operational excellence, managing risk and controls, and leading strategic transformation initiatives.

• Duration: Permanent Full Time Employee
• Location: 4x a weel onsite in Pittsburgh PA or Lake Mary FL
• Pay Rate: $98,000-$140,000- Depending on Experience
• Client is not able to do sponsorship of visa now or in the future/C2C

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience managing or leading teams within a trade finance environment.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Letters of Credit (LCs)
  • Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs)
  • Bank Guarantees
  • Document Examination
  • Documentary Credits
• Thorough understanding of:
  • UCP 600
  • URDG
  • ISP98
• Experience managing complex transaction workflows and supporting client-facing trade finance solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as:
  • CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist)
  • CSDG (Certified Specialist in Demand Guarantees)
  • Other recognized trade finance certifications
• Experience leading operational transformation, automation, or process improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of international banking regulations and trade compliance requirements.

Additional Preferred Experience

• Strong understanding of Sanctions Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Trade Compliance programs.
• Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
• Proven ability to manage operational risk while maintaining high service standards.
• Experience creating training programs and developing operational procedures.

Estimated Min Rate: $98000.00

Estimated Max Rate: $140000.00
