Job summary
University Health in San Antonio seeks a visionary Vice President of Cardiovascular Services to lead our Heart & Vascular Service Line across multiple hospitals and ambulatory sites.
You will drive strategic planning, program development, physician alignment, and partnerships with executive leadership to advance LVAD, heart transplant, and other advanced cardiovascular services, delivering growth, quality, and patient safety.
Qualifications
- BSN degree.
- RN license in Texas or eligibility.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- 10+ years of executive leadership in an acute care hospital or health system.
- Experience as hospital administrator or senior executive with cardiovascular line operations, strategy, and physician partnerships.
- Extensive leadership of LVAD and Heart Transplant programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive cardiovascular service line strategy.
- Drive growth, physician alignment, and market expansion.
- Lead innovation and transformation across inpatient and ambulatory cardiovascular services.
- Ensure operational excellence, financial stewardship, and sustainable program growth.
- Advance quality outcomes, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Build collaborative partnerships with executive leadership, physicians, and community stakeholders.
