JHB Search is a leading advisor in private markets, seeking a seasoned professional to lead capital raising initiatives across corporate and institutional channels. The role focuses on sourcing, qualifying, and closing relationships with major investors while coordinating across teams to align fund strategies with investor needs.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of experience in capital raising, a proven track record with institutional capital, and deep knowledge of PE and credit structures.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years in capital raising, business development, or institutional sales.
  • Proven success closing institutional capital relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of PE and credit strategies, vehicles, and investor structures.
  • Track record sourcing and building new institutional relationships.
  • Ability to move between strategic conversations and execution with C-level audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital raising initiatives: source, qualify, and close new institutional investor relationships across the Midwest and East Coast.
  • Manage full fundraising lifecycle: pitch strategy, presentation development, due diligence coordination, term sheet negotiation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and family offices.
  • Develop customized capital solutions aligned with investor needs and fund strategy.
  • Partner with investment, product, and operations teams on capital strategy and fund offerings.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and close tracking.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (finance, business, economics, or related field)
  • MBA or equivalent preferred
