Our client is a growing national organization entering an exciting phase of expansion. The company is seeking a strategic and hands-on operations executive who can build the infrastructure, processes, and organizational discipline needed to support continued growth across multiple regions.

Job Description

The Vice President, Business Operations will report to the COO and play a critical role in developing scalable operating models across the organization. This leader will establish standardized processes, performance metrics, reporting structures, governance practices, and business rhythms that improve consistency and execution.

This position is ideal for a transformation-focused operations leader who enjoys building within a growing organization. The VP will work closely with Operations, Human Resources, Finance, and Technology to create sustainable processes, improve accountability, and ensure the organization is equipped to scale effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and roll out standardized operating procedures, business processes, and field execution guidelines across the organization.
  • Establish meaningful KPIs, reporting tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to provide leadership with greater visibility into business results.
  • Develop recurring management routines, including business reviews, quarterly planning sessions, governance meetings, and accountability processes.
  • Lead enterprise-wide operational improvement initiatives from strategy and planning through implementation and adoption.
  • Develop change management approaches that help teams successfully transition to new processes, technologies, and operating practices.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources leadership to enhance performance management, organizational development, succession planning, and workforce effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to use automation, artificial intelligence, and technology to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and increase operational productivity.
  • Promote consistent execution of operational standards and playbooks across multiple regions.
  • Partner with senior HR leadership to strengthen performance expectations, coaching practices, and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Help develop high-potential talent programs and leadership development initiatives.
  • Support succession planning efforts for critical operational and regional leadership positions.
  • Ensure talent and organizational decisions are connected to company performance, financial objectives, and strategic priorities.
  • Establish a culture centered on accountability, measurable results, continuous improvement, and effective leadership.
Qualifications
  • Proven senior-level leadership experience in business operations, operational transformation, organizational effectiveness, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing scalable processes within a growing or multi-location organization.
  • Strong background building KPI frameworks, reporting structures, dashboards, and operating cadences.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Strong change management and organizational development capabilities.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, including Operations, HR, Finance, and Technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment where processes and infrastructure are still being developed.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into practical operating processes and measurable outcomes.
