Role Overview
As the VP – Business Development & AWS Partnership, you will drive Applify’s expansion across the US. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, focusing on revenue growth and AWS ecosystem leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Business & Growth Development (50%)
- Own and expand a high-value pipeline across SMB and Enterprise segments.
- Lead new business acquisition in North America, focusing on Healthcare, SaaS, and AI/ML verticals.
- Represent Applify at industry events and prospect engagements.
- Drive high-value deal closures for sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with BD Heads, Consultants, and Tech Principals on GTM strategies.
- Strategic AWS Alliance & Ecosystem Growth (50%)
- Enhance AWS-sourced revenue streams like MAP, GenAI PoCs, Marketplace, and co-sell initiatives.
- Act as Applify’s ambassador within the AWS ecosystem to increase visibility and influence.
- Align with AWS field teams and Partner Development Managers to pursue key accounts.
- Build and lead a North America-based AWS-focused field team.
- Contribute to achieving Premier Tier Partner status with AWS.
Work closely with:
- Head of Business Development (Seattle-based)
- Head Consultants (Multiple service verticals)
- Principal Architect / Consultant (Tech leads, India-based)
- Central Support Teams (India-based, structured for timezone efficiency)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years in enterprise sales, partnerships, or strategic alliances.
- Mandatory experience in leading GTM or partnership functions within AWS.
- Proven success in closing multi-million dollar deals and forming strategic partnerships.
- Strong executive presence for representation in boardrooms and AWS forums.
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, global environment.

Compensation Structure
The total package includes:
- Base Salary: Fixed monthly or annual pay.
- Performance Bonus: Incentives based on KPIs.
- Sales Commission: Variable earnings based on sales performance.
