Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking a Vice President - Business Banker to develop and expand commercial banking relationships by selling Business Banking products and services. You will connect with potential customers across markets while serving the Fox Valley area.

Under the direction of the SVP, Business & Agriculture Banking, you will manage loan and deposit activities, advise clients, and pursue cross-selling opportunities, balancing profitability with regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years commercial lending experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to communicate with business customers.
• Knowledge of banking practices and agribusiness.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall Business Banking objectives of loan and deposit portfolio growth.

Under the direction of the SVP, Business & Agriculture Banking, the VP - Business Banker develops and increases business banking relationships by selling Business Banking products and services through connecting with potential customers in various markets.

*This position does have the ability to work remote, but is responsible for servicing the Fox Valley area including Appleton, Neenah, Oshkosh, Green Bay, etc.*

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in area of finance with knowledge of commercial lending, communications, and businessadministration preferred.
• 3-5 years commercial lending experience or equivalent education in bank lending policies and procedures.
• Business background or equivalent education with ability to understand, communicate with, and relate to business customers.
• Proficient understanding of account principles, economic concepts, banking practices, agribusiness, and communications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills as evident by ability to interact face-to-face, over the telephone, via email, and written communications to coworkers and customer.
• Ability to communicate and create lasting relationships with customers of a variety of business specifications and financial needs.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment for a variety of customer correspondence.

Summary

• Performs a full range of duties pertaining to Business Banking for the loan and deposit product functions in order to support the overallBusiness Banking objectives of commercial loan and deposit portfolio growth.
• Accurately completes a full range of duties pertaining to business banking and the processing of loan application and deposit account documentation in compliance to all applicable Bank and legal regulations and policies.
• Prepares and presents potential loan details to the OLC, GLC, or Board of Directors when necessary, in accordance to Bank policy, to obtain proper approvals for loan processing.
• Ensures profitability and efficiency in the monitoring of all assigned loans and accounts, expanding of the most profitable, and addressing those that have a direct impact on bank profitability.
• Maintains customer connections and comfort while obtaining sales by performing all activities related to the cross-selling of various banking products and services.
• Creates and strengthens business, realtor, developer, and other potential referral contact relationships by participating in the Bank’s Business Banking Call Program to provide information regarding commercial lending programs and services.
• Stays knowledgeable of compliance and regulation through attending related seminars and workshops, increasing the accuracy and of all process administration
• Maintain knowledge of new developments and trends in the commercial loan market, identify potential opportunities, and participate inthe development and implementation of plans and programs to respond to those opportunities.
• Assist in the establishment of Business Banking goals and profitability objectives, the implementation of policies and procedures, and revisions as necessary to ensure maximum sales and return customer connections.
• Maintain educational and professional expertise through attendance of job-related seminars, conferences, and workshops and involvement in professional civic and community groups in leadership positions.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
