RockBridge Search & Recruitment is seeking a VP Business Banker in Texas to lead and expand a portfolio of commercial banking relationships with entrepreneurs and mid-market clients across Texas. You’ll act as financial strategist and trusted advisor, combining credit insight with relationship-building to drive growth.

In this role, you’ll structure lending and treasury solutions, collaborate with credit teams, and represent the bank in the community.

Qualifications

• Deliver treasury management, deposit, and cash flow solutions that help businesses operate smarter
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and consultative service
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across banking products and services
• Stay informed on market trends, economic conditions, and local business activity
• Represent the bank in the community with professionalism, credibility, and the occasional handshake marathon

This role is equal parts financial strategist, relationship architect, and opportunity hunter. You’ll work with growing businesses across Texas, helping clients navigate everything from lending and treasury management to expansion planning and long-term financial health. Think less “spreadsheet spectator” and more “quarterback with a calculator.”

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strong understanding of commercial credit analysis and underwriting principles
• Proven ability to develop business and grow client portfolios
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with privately held businesses, middle-market clients, or commercial customers
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with detail-oriented execution
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
• A polished professional presence with enough personality to avoid sounding like a corporate voicemail recording
