Job summary

The New York Botanical Garden seeks a visionary Vice President of Budget & Financial Analysis to lead enterprise financial strategy, budgeting, and reporting. You will guide executive decision-making, manage a multi-year plan for a $100 million operating budget, and supervise grants, contracts, and financial systems in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Reporting to the CFO, this senior role shapes resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring across NYBG’s diverse

Qualifications

• Senior financial leadership with enterprise budgeting and multi-year planning experience.
• Proven ability to develop and present budgets, forecasts and financial models.
• Experience with nonprofit or complex fund environments and government funding.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial leadership and decision-making across the Garden.
• Own integrated multi-year financial model and scenarios.
• Oversee operating and capital budget processes and reporting.
• Provide oversight of grants, contracts, and restricted resources.
• Direct financial systems, reporting, and data governance.
