Jobbeschreibung

The VP, Branch Leadership & Digital Transformation leads Prism Bank's new flagship headquarters branch — a fully tech-forward location built around an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) fleet in both the lobby and drive-up lanes. This role carries the full scope of traditional branch management (client experience, staff leadership, sales and service performance, operational and regulatory soundness) while also serving as the bank's enterprise-wide owner of ITM fleet strategy and the executive sponsor for reimagining how clients open accounts and submit documentation across the bank. This is a hybrid working manager and strategic leadership role: hands-on in the flagship branch day to day, while driving initiatives that shape the client experience bank-wide. This role assumes responsibilities for functions currently held by the Retail Banking Trainer position, and is intended to carry that scope forward as the organization scales.+

Key Responsibilities
Flagship Branch Management & Client Experience
  • Serve as the branch manager of record for the flagship headquarters location, accountable for client experience, sales performance, service quality, and day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee lobby and drive-up ITM operations, ensuring machines are staffed, functioning, and positioned to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Personally greet and orient clients to the ITM-first environment, coaching them through self-service transactions and building comfort with the technology.
  • Process new account openings and handle client service requests directly, either in person or via ITM-assisted video interaction, as branch volume requires.
  • Own branch-level compliance, audit readiness, cash management, and adherence to bank policy and applicable banking regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, Reg CC, Reg E).
  • Manage branch scheduling, staffing levels, and coverage across both lobby and drive-up ITM zones.
ITM Fleet Management (Organization-Wide)
  • Serve as the bank's enterprise owner for ITM fleet strategy, standards, and performance across all branch locations — not limited to the flagship branch.
  • Partner with IT, Operations, and the ITM vendor(s) on fleet uptime, maintenance schedules, software updates, and issue escalation.
  • Establish and maintain fleet-wide training standards so branch staff across the network can support, troubleshoot, and promote ITM usage consistently.
  • Monitor ITM utilization and client adoption metrics bank-wide; recommend fleet expansion, reconfiguration, or retirement based on performance data.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for ITM-related client experience issues escalated from other branches.
New Account Opening Process Innovation
  • Lead the bank's initiative to design and implement a streamlined, technology-enabled new account opening process, from client intake through documentation collection and account funding.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions (e.g., e-signature, digital document capture, identity verification tools) to reduce friction and manual paperwork.
  • Partner with Compliance, Deposit Operations, and IT to ensure the redesigned process meets regulatory, audit, and risk requirements (e.g., CIP/KYC documentation standards) while improving speed and client satisfaction.
  • Pilot the new process at the flagship branch before coordinating a phased rollout across the branch network.
  • Define and track success metrics (e.g., time-to-open, documentation error rates, client satisfaction) and report progress to retail leadership.
  • Hire, train, coach, and manage performance for the flagship branch team, embedding a culture of client-first, technology-forward service.
  • Design and deliver ITM and digital-account-opening training content used both at the flagship branch and, in coordination with retail training resources, across the branch network.
  • Model change-management leadership as the branch network transitions toward greater self-service and technology adoption.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of progressive retail banking experience, including at least 2 years in a branch management or assistant branch manager capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience with ITMs, digital banking platforms, or branch technology transformation strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to a process improvement, technology rollout, or change-management initiative.
  • Strong working knowledge of retail banking operations, account opening documentation requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks (BSA/AML, CIP/KYC, Reg CC, Reg E).
  • Comfort operating as both a hands‑on people manager and a cross‑functional project leader.
  • Strong client‑facing presence; able to coach clients and staff through unfamiliar technology with patience and clarity.
  • Project management skills sufficient to lead a multi‑stakeholder process redesign from pilot through network‑wide rollout.
  • Comfort partnering with IT and vendors on hardware/software fleet management, without requiring a deep technical background.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to report progress and recommendations to senior leadership.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • Primarily based on-site at the flagship headquarters branch, with periodic travel to other branch locations to support ITM fleet initiatives and training rollout.
  • Standard branch environment; ability to stand, move throughout the lobby and drive‑up areas, and assist clients at ITM terminals for extended periods.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend hours to support branch events, training sessions, or system implementations.
Compliance Statement

This position is responsible for ensuring all branch and enterprise ITM/account-opening activities comply with applicable federal and state banking regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) requirements, Customer Identification Program (CIP) standards, and Prism Bank's internal policies and procedures. The incumbent must maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes affecting retail account opening and self‑service banking technology.
