Job summary

RELX seeks a visionary Vice President for the Business Information Security Office (BISO) & Cyber Security Risk to lead the enterprise BISO function and own cyber risk management for the organization. You will build and guide BISOs across business units, set strategy, and ensure risk posture is clearly reported to executives.

You will sponsor security initiatives, embed security in strategy, and drive risk assessment, remediation, and governance across cloud, data, and applications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a BISO role or security leadership.
• Experience building, leading, and developing security teams.
• Proven track record owning cyber risk management frameworks, risk assessment, and risk treatment.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop BISOs and cyber risk professionals across business units.
• Define operating model and engagement standards for the BISO function.
• Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability management, and third‑party security reviews.
• Represent aggregated risk posture to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive remediation and risk treatment to closure with clear accountability.
• Partner with product, engineering, and sales for secure strategy and delivery.
