Job summary

AbCellera Biologics Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands‑on VP, Biometrics to lead biometrics across our full portfolio—from IND enabling studies through registration, launch, and post‑approval.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will build and run biostatistics, programming & analysis, and clinical data management, balancing hands‑on execution with oversight of teams and CROs. You will shape data strategy, study designs, analyses, and regulatory interactions for Phase 1 through Phase

Qualifications

15+ years of leadership experience in biotech or pharma
12+ years focused on biostatistics, statistical programming and data management
Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
Expert understanding of ICH, GCP and CDISC standards
Proven track record attracting, coaching, and leading biometrics teams
Thrives in cross‑functional environments and data‑driven decision making

Responsibilities

Build and lead biometrics across the full portfolio from IND enabling studies to post‑approval
Shape data strategy, study designs, analyses, reporting and regulatory interactions for Phase 1–4
Partner with clinical development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, operations and medical writing
Oversee CROs and external vendors to support expanding pipeline
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and CDISC guidelines
Advise on quantitative methodologies to internal stakeholders and Board
Assist with regulatory interactions and high‑quality regulatory documents
