Job description

Join a prestigious global investment banking firm as a Vice President of Data Analytics & Regulatory Reporting . Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to drive reporting accuracy, data analytics efficiency, and regulatory compliance within their Finance organization. This is a high-impact role interfacing with key business units, risk, finance, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the development, automation, and oversight of regulatory reports such as FR Y-9C, FR Y-15, FFIEC 031 / 002 / 009 , and other Federal Reserve submissions.
• Leverage Power BI to design and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage data collection, validation, and transformation processes to ensure integrity, traceability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT to implement process improvements and strategic reporting initiatives.
• Interpret evolving regulatory requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports, addressing regulatory inquiries as needed.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in regulatory reporting and data analytics.
• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices).
• In-depth understanding of U.S. regulatory reports including FR Y-9C, FR Y-15, FFIEC031, FFIEC002, FFIEC009 , etc.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, capital reporting, and risk-weighted asset calculations.
• Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as the Federal Reserve , OCC , and FDIC .
• Ability to communicate complex data and reporting logic to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with large data sets and relational databases (e.g., SQL).

Preferred :

• Prior experience in a large global bank or financial institution.
• Exposure to data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) and regulatory reporting platforms a plus.
• Hybrid work schedule : 2 days / week onsite in Midtown Manhattan .
