Job summary

Telhio Credit Union is seeking a VP of Balance Sheet Strategy to collect and interpret data for market reports and strategic balance sheet alignments. You will build financial models to communicate trends affecting interest rate risk, investments, and liquidity.

You will present monthly reports to the CFO/board, influence long-term capital decisions, and develop complex analyses of accounting records to guide strategic choices. Strong finance and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.
• 4–6 years of financial analytics with accounting knowledge are required.
• 4–6 years in an investment banking environment is required.
• 4–6 years experience in financial analysis or compensation analysis is required.
• Strong math, analytical, and data management skills are required.
• Familiarity with regulatory banking policies and balance sheet management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly reports to CFO or board and senior management.
• Assist setting deposit and loan rates.
• Support long-term strategy for capital expenditures and asset purchases.
• Develop and maintain complex financial analyses and reports.
• Direct planning model runs and investment decisions.
• Review financial statements to monitor ratios and performance.
• Advise on capital market transactions and risk management strategies.
• Track capital markets daily to capture trends and opportunities.
• Prepare capital market presentations for management and shareholders.
