Job summary

Roers Companies, based in Plymouth, MN, seeks a Vice President of Asset Management to maximize the performance and long-term value of its operating real estate portfolio.

This leadership role directs Asset Management and Property FP&A, driving property strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and investment results, with a hands-on approach to cross-functional collaboration and disciplined, data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in real estate asset management, property FP&A, investment management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing teams, functions, and portfolio performance.
• Significant multifamily experience, including lease-up, stabilization, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and long-term ownership.
• Demonstrated success improving NOI, cash flow, asset value, and investment returns.

Responsibilities

• Own financial and operational performance of the operating portfolio following handoff from Development.
• Establish and execute property business plans designed to maximize NOI, cash flow, asset value, and risk-adjusted returns.
• Monitor performance against underwriting, budgets, forecasts, lender requirements, and investor expectations.
• Lead recurring property and portfolio reviews focused on decisions, accountable actions, and measurable outcomes.
• Identify material risks and opportunities early and direct corrective action plans for underperforming assets.
