A growing real estate investment firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Asset Management to oversee the strategic and operational performance of a national portfolio of multifamily assets (about 6,000 units and growing. This executive-level role will lead asset management initiatives while driving operational excellence across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of asset-level business plans to optimize performance and returns
• Oversee third-party property management teams, capital projects, leasing strategies, and operational budgets
• Drive performance reporting, portfolio analysis, and investor communications
• Partner with acquisitions, development, and finance teams on underwriting, dispositions, and refinancing strategies
• Develop and implement company-wide operational processes and infrastructure to support growth
• Provide executive leadership across property operations, asset management, and corporate functions
• This role has the opportunity to grow into a COO depending on the candidate's background and skillset

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in multifamily real estate, with a strong background in asset management and operations
• Proven track record of value creation and leadership in institutional or entrepreneurial environments
• Excellent financial acumen and experience managing P&L across large portfolios
• Strong team leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
