Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, information systems, clinical discipline, or related field.

The Vice President provides executive oversight for Patient Access, Patient Financial Services, Information Systems, Biomedical Services, Cardiopulmonary Services, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Laboratory Services. The position works collaboratively with the President/CEO, executive leadership team, medical staff, department leaders, physicians, and other key stakeholders to align departmental operations with the hospital’s strategic priorities.

• Expected pay for this position is $87.35 - $131.03. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

• The Vice President, Ancillary & Revenue Integrity is a senior executive leadership position responsible for the strategic, operational, financial, and clinical oversight of the hospital’s ancillary services and revenue integrity functions. This position provides leadership across a diverse portfolio of departments, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered services while optimizing operational performance, regulatory compliance, technology utilization, financial outcomes, and revenue capture.
  

A key responsibility of this position is to ensure that services are appropriately documented, coded, charged, billed, and reimbursed while maintaining compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, payer requirements, and hospital policies. The Vice President will identify opportunities to improve the patient experience, strengthen revenue cycle performance, increase operational efficiency, and maximize the value of ancillary services.

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Health Information Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  

Experience
Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, with significant responsibility for hospital operations, ancillary services, revenue cycle, revenue integrity, or related functions. Demonstrated experience leading multiple hospital departments or complex service lines. Experience with hospital revenue cycle operations, reimbursement, charge capture, coding, denials, and revenue integrity strongly preferred.
Preferred Certifications
Relevant professional certifications may include, but are not limited to:

• Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP)
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative/Professional
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
• Certified Healthcare Executive (FACHE)
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)
• Relevant clinical, laboratory, radiology, or health information management credentials
• Experience with hospital information systems and technology implementation preferred.
• Experience working with physicians, medical staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and community stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, financial analysis, strategic planning, performance improvement, and capital planning.
