Job summary

JPMorganChase in Chicago and Plano is seeking an Analytics Solutions Manager, Vice President, to design and operate data pipelines for monthly profitability closes. You will automate steps, develop ML-enabled controls, and deliver data insights to finance, tech, and P&A stakeholders.

The role requires 7+ years in data engineering/science, advanced SQL/Python, and experience with Databricks and BI tools. A Master’s degree is preferred; multiple locations offer a challenging, high-impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data science, ideally in financial services.
• Advanced SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines on Databricks or a similar cloud platform.
• Experience applying machine learning to real business problems.
• Demonstrated track record of automating manual processes and designing simple, maintainable analytics workflows
• Familiarity with BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
• Ability to explain technical work to finance and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support the monthly profitability close.
• Automate manual close steps and reduce reliance on high-touch spreadsheets.
• Develop scripts and machine learning models for quality control, anomaly detection, and reconciliations.
• Extract, transform, and deliver financial data to stakeholders on request and on a recurring cadence.
• Prototype and deploy agentic and LLM-enabled tools that teams can leverage day-to-day.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, and P&A to scope and deliver value-add initiatives.
• Communicate results, methodology, and key considerations clearly to senior stakeholders.
