Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the global governance framework for Electronic and Algorithmic Trading Risk, including:
- Development and maintenance of risk-owned policies and procedures
- Coordination and administration of risk committees
- Compilation and analysis of management information
- Provide primary coverage for the U.S. Equities business, encompassing:
- Principal trading algorithm strategies
- Execution services within electronic trading environments
- Contribute to the enhancement and implementation of the Algo Control Framework, collaborating with key stakeholders to establish and refine processes
- Conduct technical regulatory analysis to identify gaps and define solutions that strengthen risk management practices
- Facilitate annual control and limit attestation processes
- Review and analyze electronic trading incidents, leading lessons-learned evaluations and cross-functional risk assessments
- Assess new electronic trading systems or significant modifications to existing platforms

Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in electronic trading or algorithmic risk, within functions such as E-Trading, Technology, Compliance, Operational Risk, or Technology Risk
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels
- Ability to remain objective and independently identify areas of risk exposure
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including compliance, legal, internal audit, risk management, and senior business leaders
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently
- Knowledge of Equities electronic trading markets
- Knowledge of Key electronic trading regulations (MiFID II, PRA, FCA, CFTC, Dodd-Frank, MAR, etc.)
- Exposure to E-trading workflows, including algorithmic trading strategies, smart order routing, order management systems, auto-hedging, pricing and RFQs, dark pools, FIX protocol
What's on Offer
$150,000 - $200,000 base salary.
