Job summary

Galaxy is seeking an experienced Algo Trading / SOR Developer to join our team in Hong Kong. You will lead greenfield algorithmic trading systems, shaping the core of our next-generation trading infrastructure and benchmarking execution strategies for crypto markets.

You’ll work closely with traders, product managers, and external partners to deliver critical initiatives that drive our business forward in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing routing strategies for markets (e.g., FX, crypto) in Java.
• Strong background in real-time data processing and low-latency systems.
• Proficiency with trading system architecture (OMS/EMS) and market gateways.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a low-latency EMS/Smart Order Router system.
• Implement intelligent routing based on execution quality, liquidity, latency, and cost.
• Collaborate with traders and product managers to refine routing logic and capabilities.
• Monitor and optimize system performance under real trading conditions.
• Contribute to system resilience and business continuity.
• Provide production support for trading issues.
• Adopt AI thoughtfully to improve team performance and outcomes.
