Job summary

Discovery Education is seeking a VP, Core Curriculum Solutions to transform our core curriculum into a scalable, AI-assisted production engine that supports educators and learners. You will lead cross-functional teams to reinvent editorial operations, drive standards alignment, and accelerate time-to-market for world-class content.

The role reports to the SVP of Product and requires a track record of leading through change, partnering with engineering, data science, and vendors, and influencing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in education or related field.
• Proven ability to deliver comprehensive K-12 instructional solutions and standards alignment.
• Experience with US education standards (CCSS, NGSS, state variants).
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Redesign curriculum development workflow into an AI-assisted production pipeline.
• Define curriculum architecture for K-12 across Science and Social Studies.
• Lead AI-enabled curriculum production and integrate AI tools across ideation to QA.
• Build governance, SLAs, and partner networks for scalable content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to accelerate time-to-market.
• Represent DE's instructional vision externally with districts and at events.
