Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Group Delivery Lead to join the AI Hub team in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA. The role drives planning, governance, and execution across AI/ML initiatives, coordinating demand, capacity, and timelines while aligning with risk and control requirements.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, develop executive insights, and deliver measurable outcomes through structured reporting and governance, shaping the future of delivery excellence at BNY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline.
• Professional certification in project, program, or portfolio management (e.g., PMP, SAFe, Agile/Scrum) preferred.
• Typically, 5-8 years of experience.
• Strong planning, execution, and program coordination skills, ideally within AI/ML, data, technology, digital, or transformation-focused organizations.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution across business priorities, AI/ML initiatives, resource needs, and delivery commitments.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide visibility into key programs and initiatives, including tracking priorities, dependencies, milestones, risks, and action items.
• Assist in maintaining roadmaps, backlogs, and planning activities by coordinating demand, capacity, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Translate strategic direction into actionable plans, ensuring initiatives are clearly documented and progressed to completion.
• Build collaborative relationships across engineering, product, business, risk, finance, operations, and delivery teams.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, status reviews, decision forums, and follow-up activities.
• Contribute to governance, delivery excellence, and process improvement through reporting, analytics, metrics, and risk tracking.
• Partner with risk, governance and control teams to support compliance while balancing objectives.
• Develop ready executive reports, presentations, and insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and team effectiveness.
