Job summary

BNY in New York, NY is seeking an AEM Publisher/Front-end Specialist (VP) to blend content publishing with front-end development. You will publish content in AEM, build templates and ensure UX/UI quality across devices.

You will translate designs into clean HTML/CSS/JS (React) and collaborate with design, UX, marketing and engineering to deliver engaging digital experiences while upholding accessibility and SEO standards. Compensation includes a base salary plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience with AEM in publishing or CMS roles.
• Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience building or modifying AEM templates and components.
• Ability to translate design mocks into clean, standards-compliant front-end code.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles, accessibility standards, and SEO fundamentals.
• Excellent communication, time management and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with DAM asset management, metadata tagging, and version control.
• Preferred experience with Workfront and agile/scrum development.

Responsibilities

• Publish, update, and maintain web content using AEM.
• Develop and enhance AEM templates, components and page layouts with attention to responsive design, performance and usability.
• Translate UX/UI designs into functional front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
• Ensure consistency with brand guidelines, accessibility, and SEO best practices during publishing workflows.
• Troubleshoot layout, rendering and integration issues across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, UX, marketing and engineering to deliver seamless digital experiences.
• Maintain documentation for publishing standards, front-end implementations, and AEM governance.
