Job summary

Madewell is seeking a VP of Accessories Design to lead the end-to-end creative vision for footwear, handbags, jewelry and small leather goods. You will report to the Creative Director and partner with design leadership to ensure accessories form a defining, brand-right pillar of the business each season.

Define seasonal strategy, own the design POV across categories, mentor a multi‑category team, translate consumer insights into a forward‑thinking portfolio, and collaborate with Merchandising,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of accessories design experience in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the seasonal design strategy for footwear, handbags, jewelry, and small leather goods.
• Own the creative point of view for accessories across all categories.
• Mentor and build a multi-category design team.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Sourcing and Marketing to ensure flawless execution from concept to delivery.
