Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Division seeks a Vice President with 5+ years in ABS Lending or Structured Finance to originate, structure and execute transactions. You will collaborate with investment banking and capital markets teams, manage the end-to-end ABS lending process, and mentor junior members while coordinating with clients and legal partners.

Role requires strong communication, familiarity with securitization structures, and an undergraduate degree (master’s preferred).

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in ABS Lending or Structured Finance.
Strong oral / written communication skills and presentation skills.
Comfort with legal documentation and securitization structures.
Ability to operate collaboratively within a team and train junior team members.
Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mind-set.
An undergraduate degree is required, master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with investment banking and capital markets partners to originate transactions.
Cover all aspects of ABS lending transaction process: origination, terms, structuring, analysis and closing.
Manage workflow and development of junior team members; assist senior members in growth of the platform.
Work with clients, credit partners, accounting, legal and others to execute ABS lending transactions.
