Job summary

bp Shipping seeks a Voyage Operator to manage all aspects of time-chartered voyages, serving as the primary liaison for masters, brokers and internal teams. You will ensure compliance, optimize bunkering, and drive commercial value.

This role collaborates with Commercial Analysts, Bunkering, Optimization and Chartering to improve TCP and maximize TCE/P&L, while mitigating risk and supporting incident response. A strong background in tanker operations and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large ship owning outfit.
• Recent oil tanker or vessel experience.
• Strong analytical skills and commercial mindset.
• Ability to manage counterparty relationships and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial expertise and marine awareness to manage risks in transportation of hydrocarbons, chemicals and dry bulk.
• Act as the designated fleet lead, overseeing day-to-day operations and serving as the primary liaison for internal and external parties.
• Own and curate critical fleet-related data and communications to optimize TCP and maximize TCE/P&L.
