Job summary

Voya Financial Advisors, Inc. in Houston seeks an Account Rep to support plan sponsors in the tax-exempt market. You will handle 403(b)/457 enrollment and educate participants, while building relationships with sponsors and participants.

You will prospect, schedule and conduct one-on-one retirement counseling, and also lead retirement and investment seminars to drive enrollment and adoption of Voya's financial solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with 403(b), 457, and 401(a) plans.
• Series 6/63 licenses preferred (7/66 optional).
• Life & Health Insurance licenses.
• 3–5 years proven sales in financial services.
• Desire to become a top producer in the Financial Services Industry.

Voya Financial Advisors, Inc., a leading independent broker-dealer in the defined contribution & defined benefit business, is currently seeking an Account Rep to join our team in the Housotn area to work within plan sponsor relationships in the tax-exempt markets.

This position will be responsible for 403(b)/457 enrollment and education of the plan. Qualified candidates must possess the skills necessary to prospect, schedule and conduct one on one retirement counseling appointments. Additionally, candidate must have ability to conduct retirement and investment seminars.

To be eligible for the Financial Advisor role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Registered Representative with experience working defined contribution plans, 403(b), 457, and 401(a) preferred
• Securities registrations – Series 6, Series 63 (7/66 preferred)
• Life & Health Insurance Licenses
• 3-5 Years proven sales track record ideally in the financial services field preferred
• Desire to assist clients meet their financial and retirement goals and simultaneously to put forth the efforts necessary to become a top producer in the Financial Services Industry

Qualified candidates are expected to have the following skills:

• Strong understanding of the defined contribution marketplace (403(b), 457, and 401(a)
• Knowledge of rules/regulations around contribution limits, loans, withdrawals, vesting, and plan documents
• Territory management and business development
• Relationship building
• Fund knowledge and product/pricing knowledge
