The Outreach Team is seeking a Field Director to recruit, train, and lead a team of 15–20 hourly canvassers in Medford, OR, focusing on promoting abortion access and civic engagement. You will canvass alongside staff, set goals, monitor performance, and ensure accurate reporting.

General Overview

The Field Director will recruit, train, and manage a team of local canvassers to contact voters at the door promoting the right to abortion access and reproductive freedom. The Field Director is expected to train voter contact canvassers in the field while canvassing themselves to lead by example; they must also communicate long and short-term goals to staff and manage campaign reporting.

Canvass Management Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 15–20 hourly staff who will canvass door to door to talk to voters about defending reproductive rights.
• Canvass yourself several days a week to train staff and drive office goals
• Set goals and hold staff accountable to them
• Train and provide ongoing motivation and support to staff
• Identify, promote, and train a leadership team
• Build a diverse team where staff feel respected while fostering a culture of equity and justice
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of the work

Salary

The salary range for this position is $1,146 – $1,500 per week.
