Volunteer: Sociology of Sexuality Books & Essays - Research, Proofread and Edit

Join us as a volunteer for the Sociology of Sexuality Books & Essays - Research, Proofread and Edit role at Pre-Volcano Hedonisia Hawaii Eco-Feminist Community.

Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community was established in 2004 in the Hawaiian rainforest, based on ecofeminism and ecotourism. Despite its small size, our projects have a global reach, and we seek entrepreneurial and creative solutions to worldwide challenges.

In 2018, the community was affected by lava flow from the Kilauea eruption. We continue to work on projects born from our community, including land reclamation on our one-acre green zone, known as a Kipuka, which remained unaffected by lava.

Currently, our community operates virtually, with over five hundred volunteers worldwide working on various projects within the Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Portfolio. We invite you to join our virtual team and contribute to a project that resonates with you.

Sociology of Sexuality Essays & Books on Culture and Society

These essays explore societal issues from the perspective of sexual dysfunction, examining the connection between sex, problems, and potential solutions. We seek editors interested in working on these drafts, which are in need of editing, research, and rewriting before publication.

Our manuscripts are Google Docs, allowing Commenter access for suggesting edits, adding research, or rewriting. Please note that many ideas are politically incorrect and intended to stimulate discussion. We value volunteers who support open dialogue on sensitive issues related to human sexuality.

If accepted, volunteers will receive free access to manuscripts with editing instructions, and will have Commenter status to make direct improvements.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Reading & Editing: For those with experience in non-fiction writing, critical thinking, activism, or editing, especially from perspectives on gender equality outside mainstream views.
• Using AI tools for research and rewriting.
• Self-publishing: Proofreading and editing manuscripts for self-publishing platforms.

Many essays are incorporated into our trilogy, and volunteers can work on any or all of these books:
