Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking First Tracks Instructors to deliver our experiential learning-based curriculum for school-aged children, guiding them from discovery to self-mastery on skis or a snowboard.

In this role you will work with group leaders to assess abilities and tailor daily plans, creating engaging game stations that develop and advance ski and snowboard skills while ensuring safety and enjoyment.

Qualifications

• Ability to ski and snowboard safely in all snow conditions.
• Own ski and/or snowboard equipment.
• Experience working with teams and communicating expectations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver our experiential curriculum for school-aged children.

Job description

First Tracks Instructors are responsible for delivering our unique, experiential learning-based curriculum to guide school-aged children from discovery to self-mastery in skiing and snowboarding. They partner with the group leaders to assess the abilities of their group and develop a specific plan for the day. Instructors tailor the learning environment to the skills of each group by creating game stations that develop and advance these skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to ski and/or snowboard safely & confidently in all snow conditions, on varying moderate types of terrain.
• Must have own ski and/or snowboard equipment
• Experience working with teams, effectively communicating expectations and facilitating their activities.
• Must pass background check, complete on snow training and child safety training.

Hours available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sundays
